We are thrilled to announce the return of our 13th annual YMCA Kids Tri, the ultimate endurance event where our community's youth will cross the finish line on Sunday, August 13th! We welcome many new and returning youth athletes of all skill levels ages 3-14 who all will become finish line champions on race day. Our YMCA Kids Triathlon is an event where these athletes will be encouraged to compete to complete - our inclusive mantra for competition at the Y. August 13th is more than just a race; it is a full-family experience like none other beginning with the electric energy and atmosphere of athlete check-in, the return of the highly anticipated KIDS TRI VILLAGE, and the incredible detail of race-day and finish line experience that fully embraces our compete to complete and Y FOR ALL atmosphere where every athlete is a winner.
What's New in 2023?
Our YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties has partnered with USA Triathlon to launch the USA Kids Tri initiative and ensure that the YMCA Kids Tri is a regional destination event serving as the national model for youth multisport. As we speak, our inaugural Kids Tri Program youth classes are underway. We are gearing up for Kids Tri Summer Camp designed to prepare our youth for lifelong success in multisport opportunities. USA Triathlon is supporting our Y with training resources and coaching certifications, program and race equipment, and geo-targeted marketing to guarantee a packed house on August 13. Additionally, all youth triathletes participating in the YMCA Kids Tri will receive a free USA Triathlon Youth Annual Membership.
