YMCA of Bucks County is pleased to announce it will officially open the doors of its completely renovated Fairless Hills branch on April 14 and celebrate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1 PM. In advance of the reopening, the Y is providing an off-site membership information center at St. Frances Cabrini to answer questions and provide information on membership. The info center is open to the entire community until April 1. Beginning April 1, information and tours will be on-site at the renovated branch, 601 S. Oxford Valley Rd.
In mid-December 2020, as a result of extensive fundraising and philanthropic support through the For A Better Us Campaign, the Fairless Hills branch of YMCA of Bucks County closed to members and the community to undergo much needed renovations that would allow the organization to serve the community for years to come at the same location.
When the branch reopens it will include a wide range of amenities including a brand new, large Wellness Center with state of the art cardio and strength equipment, renovated pool and new observation area, new group exercise and program studios, revitalized gymnasium, new Universal Locker room for all ages and adult male and female locker rooms for ages 12 and up. The renovated branch also features a brand new Stay & Play room for easy drop off and observation of children, community gathering space and additional parking.
Leading the newly revitalized branch is Andrew Yannarella, vice president of operations in Lower Bucks County who will serve with many returning staff at the new Fairless Hills branch. Andrew has served with the Y for 14 years and has a wealth of experience and success leading staff and Y programs. Also returning is membership director, Ali DeRosa, who is celebrating 13 years with the organization, and many returning group exercise and aquatics instructors.
The information center is now open at St. Frances Cabrini, 325 South Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, PA with hours offered throughout the week, allowing the community to stop by, ask questions, see plans and purchase an advanced membership.
