YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties is proud to announce the Athletes of the Month for June 2023. 

Athletes of the Month are selected monthly for each branch as a way of recognizing young athletes who exemplify the Y core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.

Ashton has been coming for about 6 months now, each week showing improvement in not only the obstacles, but socially as well. He comes with a smile on his face, ready to play and loves the balance beam. He conquers his fears each class, and is always eager for his sticker at the end of class. Ashton is a pleasure to have in our class!

Kids Tri Class

Our inaugural Kids Triathlon class completed their 8 week program with a mock triathlon this month! They worked incredibly hard for 8 weeks to become stronger swimmers, bikers, and runners. Each week they showed up with a positive attitude and grew as both athletes and teammates. We are so proud of all of you!

Olivia has been coming to class since October and has improved immensely in her basketball skills. She was timid and shy at first, but quickly became a fan-favorite. Her ability to compete and dominate the game at times proves her hard work and dedication. Olivia has built relationships on and off the court with the players in the class.

Connor and Caitlin Fuller (twins)
Age 11
Connor- Floor hockey and Swim lessons, Caitlin- Swim Team 

Over the last 2 years Caitlin has worked her way up from a red band to swim team. This was Caitlin’s first year on the team and she was able to compete in swim meets and made some new friends. Caitlin always has a smile and is eager to learn and improve her strokes. 

Connor has been involved in our youth programming for many years in different programs. One specific program that he has stuck with is our Floor Hockey class. He has shown significant strides in his abilities as a player and a teammate on and off the court. He always shows up eager, excited and ready to go! Connor continues to be on the staples in floor hockey and we are excited to see him continue his passion for the game!
